"He was such a loving, kind and caring man," said Sandy Henry,
his wife of 15 years.
Henry, of south Oklahoma City, was 36.
He was material coordinator of procurement for OG&E.
George Carpenter, his supervisor, said Henry had an impeccable
reputation among his fellow employees: "He had a great sense of
humor and was a very caring person... always thinking of the other
guy."
Henry enjoyed sports and the outdoors. He liked to unwind by
fishing or attending Oklahoma City Blazers hockey games.
Though his duties at OG&E consumed much of his time, Henry
attended night classes at the University of Central Oklahoma and
was on schedule to graduate in May 2000 with a degree in purchasing
and material management.
David Henry was also devoted to his family. He was excited about
planning a 50th wedding anniversary celebration in July for his
parents, Euell and Jessie Mae of Oklahoma City.
"David was very proud of that," Sandy Henry said.
