The attorney for convicted husband killer Brenda Andrew was charged Friday with raping and sodomizing a 15-year-old girl. Prosecutors allege George Joseph Miskovsky III, 42, of Oklahoma City paid for sex with the girl and gave her alcohol. A report by Oklahoma City police Sgt. Ben Lacaze says Miskovsky rented a room with a hot tub at The Best Western Broadway Inn & Suites, 6101 N Santa Fe Ave., on April 22. The girl's relative, Lorie Michelle Toney, drove her to meet Miskovsky at the room the following night where the attorney offered the girl whiskey and wine before paying $150 for sex, according to the report. The report states Miskovsky paid $160 on May 1 for oral sex when Toney delivered the girl to Miskovsky's home. The girl admitted to the sex acts with Miskovsky during police interviews, according to the report. Police were tipped off when the girl's father filed a police report. The girl said she was never given any of the money. Oklahoma County District Attorney Wes Lane said Toney, 33, is charged with pandering for arranging the meetings for sex and accepting money from Miskovsky. He said the girl testified against her relative in January during a preliminary hearing. Miskovsky's attorney, Carl Hughes, said he doesn't understand why investigators waited nearly a year to take action against his client. "He's not guilty, and we will defend this case vigorously, Hughes said. "I'm not going to get into specifics. I want to talk to the DA's office first to find out what is going on and why they have filed these charges against George. Miskovsky is the second Oklahoma City attorney charged this week with a sex crime. Michael Gassaway was charged Tuesday with soliciting prostitution for accepting sex as payment for legal fees. Lane said Toney is a prostitute Miskovsky has had a relationship with for several years. Toney told police she met Miskovsky about 10 years ago while working for an escort service, according to documents. She told police Miskovsky paid her for sex in the past. Miskovsky and a high school tennis coach were arrested in June on complaints of offering to engage in acts of prostitution. Police said he was arrested by Oklahoma City vice officers as part of an ongoing escort service sting. Miskovsky was part of the defense team representing Brenda Andrew, who was convicted of murder in 2004 in the death of her husband and sentenced to death in Oklahoma County. Miskovsky is charged with felony counts of second-degree rape and forcible oral sodomy of a child under age 16 and misdemeanor counts of offering to engage in an act of lewdness and providing alcohol to a minor.
