Judge ruled OK to preside at trial

BRISTOW - When opening statements begin Monday afternoon in the trial of former Judge Donald Thompson , there will be no change on the bench.

Washington County District Judge Jan Dreiling ruled Friday that the trial's current judge, C. Allen McCall , shows no bias against Thompson and no conflict of interest in presiding over a misdemeanor charge of misuse of a state computer.
