Owners Franson and Paula Nwaeze like to tell their inspiring story of how they went from running a small catering business out of their convenience store, to being featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network.

It started when they wanted to open a restaurant, but couldn't find a lender. So, instead, they opened a convenience store in Watauga, a suburb of Fort Worth, just a few miles from Interstate 35 W.

Franson, a chef who truly has the gift of creating spectacular gourmet meals, started catering and soon the gas station customers asked to stay and eat. Paula added a few tables, then a few more, and now, thanks to a lot of hard work, word of mouth, tenacious marketing, and the Food Network, their little restaurant has become nationally known for its incredible food.

Some might say it's a little odd being inside a convenience store, but after your first bite, you'll feel like you're in a swanky downtown eatery.

Their most popular dishes are the blackened stuffed pork chops and their duck a la orange. Chef Point's Italian-American cuisine is diverse, with hamburgers and french fries totally at home on the menu next to the out-of-this-world chicken scaloppini.
