Court dismisses discrimination suit
The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday dismissed Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice Marian Opala 's age discrimination lawsuit against his peers.
Opala, 85, claimed a rule change kept him from becoming chief justice in 2005.
The change allowed Chief Justice Joseph Watt to serve a second two-year term as the state's top judge, rather than being succeeded by Opala.
