Phone messages investigated
Authorities are looking into whether telephone messages attacking two Republican congressional candidates were illegal, Attorney General Drew Edmondson said today.
The calls reportedly came from a group called Americans for Job Security , according to a news release, but there was no call-back number -- a possible violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
