Court says commandments monument can stay
MUSKOGEE - A federal judge ruled Friday that a Ten Commandments monument on the courthouse lawn in Haskell County does not have to be removed.
In the 43-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Ronald White said Haskell County did not overstep the constitutional line “demarcating government neutrality towards religion.”
