Anthony Parks practiced with the Cowboys today, despite learning that he had only one kidney earlier this month.

"He's pursuing other ways to play football," head coach Mike Gundy said. "He was out there running and got involved."

Parks, a potential starter as a wide receiver, has been absent from the team the past two weeks after suffering an injury to his hip and undergoing an MRI. The scan revealed that he had only one kidney and Oklahoma State University told Parks his football career was over.

Gundy said there is a chance Parks will play Saturday, although there are legal issues the university must consider.

Parks practiced with the team for 45 minutes this afternoon, Gundy said. "I support whatever he wants to do."
