Court tosses taxpayer bill of rights petition
A unanimous Oklahoma Supreme Court threw out today the taxpayer bill of rights petition aimed at limiting state government spending, saying it lacked sufficient valid signatures for a statewide vote.
"The evidence supports substantial illegal participation of out-of-state circulators," the court said of State Question 726, which commonly is called TABOR for taxpayer bill of rights.
