RB Adrian Peterson
AD was AD Saturday against UAB. The junior running back rushed 24 times for 139 yards and a touchdown. Peterson averaged 5.8 yards per carry. He also proved that he could catch the ball, taking a Paul Thompson screen pass 69 yards for a score. Peterson is on pace for 1,668 yards this season and now stands within 843 yards of Billy Sims ’ OU career rushing record.
