Adrian Peterson
Running hard all afternoon, when there was no room to run and when there was, Peterson produced 211 rushing yards, averaging 6.2 a carry.

Reggie Smith
Looking like a true shutdown corner, Smith had two pass breakups. Then he gave the Sooners a shot at victory, returning the kickoff after the final Oregon touchdown 55 yards to the Ducks' 27.

Garrett Hartley
Everyone will remember Hartley's final field goal attempt, blocked at the line by a leaping Blair Phillips up the middle. But Hartley's four earlier kicks (41, 20, 20 and 22 yards out) tied a school record for most field goals in a game.
