McGee's debut Texas A&M quarterback Stephen McGee played the first significant minutes of his career as a freshman last year against Oklahoma in Norman.

McGee entered in the second half when starter Reggie McNeil was injured and got the Aggies within striking distance of the Sooners.

Though he was 0-of-6 passing, McGee rushed for 67 yards and guided A&M to 13 points in the final 16 minutes.
