The engaged couple will be married in May.
The honorees, both from Charleston, S.C., enjoyed visiting with their friends and took their wrapped shower gifts home to open.

HOLIDAY GATHERINGJim Vallion and Ann Alspaugh stood at the front door of the festive Alspaugh home to welcome their party guests.
Life-size holiday figures were set in the entryway and windows of the house held wonderful snow scenes.
The menu items were festive, and dessert was birthday cake to celebrate the hosts' birthdays.
Vallion's birthday was on the day of the party, and everyone joined in to sing "Happy Birthday.”

MERRYMAKING
75 Club members and guests had a gourmet dinner and then danced to the music of Smilin' Vic and the Soul Monkeys when they met for the Christmas dance. Roses and berries decorated the tables at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club.
Among the 200 partygoers were Becky and Jim Buchanan, Chris and Paul Houk, Bette and Jim MacKellar, Mary and Phil Truss, Mary and Rowland Denham, Kay and Gates Oliver and Lynette and Clark Hyde.
FUN TO SEE
Baby Burke Johnson, 7 weeks, napped during the party that grandmother Gennie Johnson held in his honor.
His mother Tyfanna Johnson and sister Kirby Johnson, 8, greeted guests, and Kirby rode the toy train that was part of the decorations at the front door.
There were vases of yellow roses and toy trains on tracks that served as centerpieces for the holiday menu items.
Train cookies were also served.

LOK CHRISTMAS PARTY
The Leadership Oklahoma Holiday Celebration was in the home of Robin and James Meyer.
Two hundred members of the group celebrated the 20th year, and the entire membership throughout the state was invited to the holiday party.

Flowers in the Meyer home were arranged by Dulaney Flowers, owned by Candy and Tom Dulaney, both Leadership Oklahoma class members.
Ann Ackerman is the organization's new chief executive officer.
