With three and a half minutes remaining in the third quarter of Saturday night's 100-93 Hornets loss to the Indiana Pacers , forward Desmond Mason walked over to Hornets coach Byron Scott and let him in on a little secret.

Mason, in so many words, informed his coach that he was dead-dog tired.
