Oklahoma officially has joined a movement by states to hold their 2008 presidential primary earlier.
Oklahoma would join South Carolina as the first states after New Hampshire to hold presidential primaries next year if a bill passed out of legislative subcommittee Wednesday becomes law.
Iowa and Nevada will have 2008 presidential caucuses that would precede Oklahoma’s vote.
