Spring is big for backup receivers
With Malcolm Kelly sidelined by offseason knee surgery, spring practice has become invaluable for a few Oklahoma receivers trying to play their way into the second-string spot behind the Sooners' All-Big 12 second-teamer.
Junior Quentin Chaney and sophomore Adron Tennell are at the front of that battle. Both saw time backing up Kelly last season.
