Teen runaway arrested in assault, rape attempt
MIDWEST CITY — Police arrested a 16-year-old runaway in connection with an alleged assault and attempted rape of a Midwest City woman and teenager.
Vernon Ray Campbell of Midwest City was jailed late Wednesday on complaints of burglary, attempted rape, shooting with intent to kill, robbery with a firearm, obstructing a police officer and carrying a switchblade.
