Blues event to benefit Texas child
Local blues artists will perform in a fundraiser Saturday for a young boy who needs medical help.
Logan Townsend , 2, of Abilene , Texas , is in need of a life-saving small bowel and liver transplant. He is at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston , according to the boy's Web site.
The Oklahoma Blues Society fundraiser will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at The Biting Sow in Bricktown , 1 E California Ave.
