Coburn plans to go home after surgery
WASHINGTON — Sen. Tom Coburn is planning to return to Oklahoma today from the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to recover from surgery to remove a benign tumor in his pituitary gland.
Coburn, 59, is expected to have a complete recovery from Wednesday's surgery and may return to his Senate work by the end of this month, spokesman John Hart said.
