Molestation complaints
The New Generations Child Development Center in Oklahoma City kept its license for more than seven months after a complaint was made on July 11, 2005, that a staff member, Dontae Daniels, molested children there. Department of Human Services reported that New Generations' director failed to do a criminal background check that would have turned up Daniels' prior charges of rape, lewd molestation and indecent exposure. DHS also found some victims reported Daniels' "sexually inappropriate behavior” to the director who failed to report it to the welfare agency or police. DHS reported the director asked children and their families not to cooperate with the agency or law enforcement.
