Livestock emergency vehicles readied
Six mobile units to help contain contagious animal diseases are ready for use in the event of a serious outbreak, state officials said Wednesday.
The units will clean and disinfect livestock transport vehicles and other equipment contaminated during a naturally occurring or man-made animal disaster, said Jack Carson , state Agriculture, Food and Forestry Department spokesman.
