Metro area rain drowns record

Measurable rainfall recorded at Will Rogers World Airport made Wednesday the 15th consecutive day of rain in the Oklahoma City area — setting a record. The previous record was 14 days, set May 29 to June 11, 1937. There were 13 consecutive days of rain June 16 to June 28, 2000.
