•Apparently, the only one who can stop Robert Sellers at Lawton Speedway is
Robert Sellers. The mustang sprint car driver has won all seven of his championship feature races this summer. Eddy Middleton from Fletcher is the only other driver to win a feature at the Lawton track.
Sellers is third in champ sprint standings at State Fair Speedway and fourth in the super sprint division.
Sellers has won a feature race in both divisions, including this past Tuesday night, when
Sellers edged
Gary Flatt in the super sprint main event.
•Sprint driver
Chris Burns has been overtaken in the super sprint standings.
Danny Jennings finished third place in Tuesday night's feature race, one spot ahead of
Burns, and has overtaken the defending the super sprint point champion for 20 points.
Burns, who still leads the champ sprint point standings, is defending his title in both divisions.
Last year,
Burns became the only driver in the speedway's history to win two divisions in the same season.
Burns will have a chance at feature wins in both divisions tonight.
