Oklahoma State is picked to finish fourth.

Oklahoma is the defending Big 12 champion and is coming off a loss in the Fiesta Bowl to Boise State.

OSU beat Alabama in last season's Independence Bowl.

The shakeup is in the North, where Missouri is picked to win. The Tigers return 15 starters from last year's 8-5 team that tied for second (4-4) in the North.

Texas returns 13 starters from its 2006 team that finished 10-3 overall and beat Iowa in the Alamo Bowl.

Texas A&M is picked third in the south, followed by OSU, Texas Tech and Baylor.
