‘Little guys' might finally have a shot
OU, Texas no longer have all the top players

Mack Brown trotted out his case for the Big 12 's "little guy” last week.

"It's the best chance for somebody to win the league that nobody would expect,” Brown told a huddled mass of reporters during Big 12 media days in San Antonio .

While the Texas coach seldom wastes an opportunity to play politician, particularly in the preseason, he may actually have been providing more real analysis than posturing ...
