Former Oklahoma linebacker Dan Cody could miss the entire NFL season with a knee injury, according to a report in the Baltimore Sun.

Cody, who is in his third season with the Ravens, will sit out the next four weeks. He hyperextended his right knee and tore cartilage during a non-contact drill on May 20. He told The Sun he had his knee scoped two weeks ago.

If his knee doesn't improve, he could have surgery, which would force him to miss the season.

"I've just got to wait and see. It's too early to figure out where I'm at," Cody told The Sun. "Hopefully, having surgery arthroscopically will kind of fix it.""We're just trying to help Dan get healthy and see if we can get him back on the field," Ravens coach Brian Billick told The Sun.

Cody, who played high school football at Ada, missed the entire 2005 season with an injury and played in just two games last year.
