Grady County bridge closed because of flood damage
A bridge on U.S. 81 in Grady County that was damaged by weekend flooding will be closed through mid-September, the transportation department said today.
The bridge crosses Buggy Creek south of Minco and State Highway 37.
Transportation officials closed the bridge after finding soil erosion beneath the abutment on each end of the bridge, said David Meuser , transportation spokesman.
