Oklahoma co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach Bobby Jack Wrightwas pleased with the performance of his defensive backs in Saturday's 79-10 rout of North Texas, but he credited the defensive front for keeping pressure on the quarterback.

OU sacked the Mean Green QB six times.
"Our pressure was good all night, especially from the defensive ends,” Wright said. "Auston English, Alonzo Dotson, John Williams, they were all really active.”
Asked if English is the quickest defensive end Wright has seen in his nine years at OU, Wright wasn't ready to go that far.
"I don't know that he's the quickest, but he's in that class with the Dan Codys and the Jonathan Jacksons,” Wright said. "He really does have a great first step.
"The more he plays, the more he starts to remind me of Dan Cody, the way Dan would just explode off the ball. Auston has got that same quality about him.”
•Switches looking good: At one point last season, Lendy Holmes and D.J. Wolfe were battling for playing time at cornerback. On Saturday, both played safety positions — and both played well.
"I really like that combination,” Wright said. "Lendy had the interception, D.J. was active all night. After watching tape, I was really pleased with the way those two guys performed.
"I think that's been a really good move for us. I think it's been a good for both of those guys.”
