Blame it on the Miami Hurricanes, or at least Henriette.

Football fans heading to Norman and Stillwater today will get wet.

"Ponchos would be a necessity,” said Ty Judd, National Weather Service meteorologist.

A flash-flood watch has been issued for central, east-central, southwest, western, northern and northwest Oklahoma, including Norman and Stillwater, until tonight. Rainfall of 2 to 3 inches is expected, with some areas receiving 5 to 8 inches as the remnants of Henriette blow through.

Judd said fans should leave early and avoid flooded streets.

"We're already saturated, so it's not really going to take a lot to flood,” Judd said.

Umbrellas are prohibited at Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman and Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater.
