Despite quarterback Zac Robinson's stellar job in relief Saturday night, Bobby Reid's job status isn't in question, Cowboys coach Mike Gundy insisted Monday.

Reid's health, however, may be another matter.

Gundy reiterated that his players don't lose their jobs due to injury. But Gundy also allowed that Reid's return for Friday's game at Troy isn't a given. Reid suffered what Gundy referred to as dings to his knee and ankle in the win over Florida Atlantic.

"Obviously, we're going to see how he is,” Gundy said. "Let's see how he practices this week, how hobbled he is. "One thing he does is run, so he has to be able to move around.”

After Reid struggled to direct the offense before going down, Robinson came on to complete 14 of 20 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns.
