Bradford, who shared co-offensive player of the week with Baylor quarterback Blake Szymanski, completed 19 of 25 passes for 205 yards and tied a school record with five touchdowns passes against the Hurricanes.
Led by Smith, the defensive player of the week, OU held Miami to 139 yards of offense, and just 87 passing.
Smith also returned a fumble 61 yards for a touchdown, giving the Sooners a 21-3 lead in the second quarter.
•WR Caleb hurt: Sophomore receiver Brandon Caleb, who missed the Miami game because of a knee sprain, could be return as soon as this Saturday against Utah State, coach Bob Stoops said Monday.
"He got a slight (knee) sprain on Thursday in practice where a guy fell into him, kind of a freaky thing that happened late in the week,” Stoops said. "We're hopeful that he'll be back this week, so we'll just see.”
•Wrong receiver: After two games, OU already has two defensive touchdowns. That could increase when the Sooners face Utah State quarterback Leon Jackson III.
Last year, Jackson lost his job after tossing seven interceptions, five of which were returned for touchdowns.
This season, though, Jackson has regained his starting spot and is yet to throw a pick in his first two games.

It's exciting to see OU players getting player of the week honors again. That is something that has been missing for the last few years. In Stoops's first few years it was rare for them to not have at least one player honored every week.
