The award-winning a cappella harmony group Kismet will perform at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 10600 N Council Road.
The group won the Region Sweet Adelines Quartet Championship last spring for the fourth time and is scheduled to compete in the International Sweet
Adeline Competition in Calgary,
Canada. Region 25 spans Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Missouri.
Of the 28 Sweet Adeline regions worldwide, Kismet received the highest qualifying score of all regional champions.
In addition to their contest songs, Kismet will present a wide variety of music, with selections ranging from
Andrew Lloyd Weber's "Unexpected Song” to the driving beat of Grand Funk Railroad's "Some Kind of Wonderful.” For tickets or information, call 720-SING (7464). Tickets will also be available at the door.
