Mike Gundy held his weekly press conference on Monday and addressed a number of issues, including his Saturday tirade against Oklahoman columnist Jenni Carlson.

Gundy spoke about Saturday's game against Texas Tech for the first 10 minutes before being asked about the postgame. On Saturday Gundy did not address any aspect of his team's 49-45 win over the Red Raiders, choosing instead to rail against Jenni Carlson's column about backup quarterback Bobby Reid.

When asked about the outburst, which has gained significant national attention, Gundy said he didn't regret the outburst and said he is surprised by how much attention it has drawn.

"I just was shooting from the hip,” Gundy said. "I probably should have had a better prepared speech — my English would have been better. The only thing I said is that I should have written it out because there's other things I wanted to say and didn't get out. Because I forgot.”

When asked what other things he wanted to say, Gundy said it wasn't "worth talking about. CBS Sportsline: Mike Dodd
