Chicago defensive tackle Tommie Harris is expected to miss the team's game Sunday at Detroit and could miss up to a month with a sprained knee, his agent told the Chicago Tribune.

Bill Horn, Harris' agent, said an MRI on Monday revealed Harris sprained his knee Sunday night in a 34-10 loss to Dallas.

The former Oklahoma Sooner was one of several Bears defenders injured. Linebacker Lance Briggs and cornerback Nathan Vasher left Sunday's game against the Cowboys with groin injuries, while an ankle injury sidelined offensive lineman Ruben Brown.

Harris had eight unassisted tackles and two quarterback sacks in three games this season.

Ooooh, I hope Jenni Carlson writes a column from the standpoint of Tommie Harris' knees. She’s such a professional journalist!
