After suffering a concussion in Saturday's loss, will Texas quarterback Colt McCoy play against Oklahoma?

The Longhorns aren't saying one way or the other yet, and they'll try to keep it under wraps most of the week.
Texas representatives said McCoy suffered a mild concussion. He returned to the game but was later vomiting on the sideline.
Whether McCoy plays or not, it's likely the Sooners will see Longhorn backup John Chiles. In some situations Saturday, both he and McCoy were on the field, and coach Mack Brown will likely use that package again to confuse the Sooners.
Did Kansas State provide the blueprint for how to beat Texas?
Yes — intercept four passes and return one for a touchdown. Then return a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns as well.
Knowing Kansas State had won 41-21, OU defensive coordinator Brent Venables popped in the game tape hoping to see a dominant defensive performance from the Wildcats.
But that wasn't the case.
"You're getting ahead of yourself if you thought shut (Texas) down,” he said. "When Kansas State got the lead, they pinned their ears back and made them one-dimensional.”
That doesn't mean Venables wasn't looking for something to help his own team next week.
"Obviously, there's some things you look at to see what fits what you do,” he said. "But it's not like (Kansas State ) totally dominated them.”
Did OU coach Bob Stoops consider using his final timeout in the closing seconds Saturday before Colorado attempted its winning field goal?
Yes. Stoops had two options. He could have called the timeout immediately after Colorado's third-down play, preserving about 20 seconds to give his offense at least a minimal chance at getting in position for a tying field goal. Or, he could have called it just before Colorado tried the kick to play with the mind of kicker Kevin Eberhart.
"I considered it,” he said. "Whether it would've mattered, I don't know.”
Is a loss the week before playing Texas a bad sign?
Twelve times since 1940, the Sooners lost the game prior to playing Texas. Eleven of those times, OU lost to the Longhorns, too.
The last time it happened was Bob Stoops' first season of 1999. After a 34-30 loss at Notre Dame, OU fell to Texas 38-28. That year was also the last time OU and Texas both lost the week before the Red River Shootout. Texas lost to No. 13 Kansas State 35-17.
OU's only win over Texas when coming off a loss was under John Blake in 1996.

Candace, how can you blame DJ Wolfe? He had interceptions that led to two OU touchdowns.
I've read a lot of postings over the weekend. Losing to CU hurt, and still hurts. Constantly complaining about how OU lost, or simply the fact that they lost, is something along the lines of being a fair-weather fan, isn't it?
Concerning how many times OU has won or lost when playing Texas after coming off a loss; what is Texas's record against OU after they come off a loss the previous game?
That wasn't the only problem. CU ran all over us, too. They made OU look confused and out of sorts the entire game. I'm a die-hard OU fan, but Saturday's performance was awful.
I'm no fair-weather fan- I was in the stands for the Switzer, Gibbs, Schnellie, and Blake. And if I cheered and complained during those years, I'm going to cheer and complain just as loud now. I don't blame the players, their just kids-but the coaches, they need to be held accountable. Especially, for this one. Why do we have to stay vanilla on offense and defense until the Texas game. Were are the blitz packages-On 3rd and long, opposing QB should know they are going to be put on their back side. We may not make the sack, they may even convert, but the QB is not going to enjoy it. You wait and see, in Texas we will Blitz, after the Texas game we will blitz. Ever notice how the defense gets so much better later in the year. Its not the players, its the coaches putting everying on line and going after people. Maybe Bob let the wrong defensive Coordinator go on down to LSU. You see what Bo has down with the LSU defense. On third and long, you don't want to be the QB. Well, I've cried enough, cursed enough and ranted enough. Bring on the Horns-GO OU Beat Texas!
