Kansas brothers die in crash
WELCH — Two Pittsburg , Kan. , brothers died when their family van and a 104-car freight train collided at a country crossing in Craig County .
Dead are:
• John Patrick Short , 15, Pittsburg, Kan..
• Nicholas Short , 17, Pittsburg, Kan.
Both teen were dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, one mile south of Welch, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
