Hunter finds body near I-35
A body found by a hunter in McClain County may be that of a 62-year-old man who had been missing since Oct. 26, a police spokesman said Monday.

Steven Domer was last seen Oct. 26 near NW 39 and Pennsylvania Avenue. His car was found burned the next day in McClain County, Oklahoma City police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

A hunter walking near Ladd Road just west of Interstate 35 found the body about 5 p.m. Sunday, Knight said.

Mort Domer said he had last talked to his brother the day he disappeared.

He said he got a call at his brother's house – where he has been living – from Steven Domer's workplace stating his brother was late.

"We were very close,” Mort Domer said. "He was my flesh and blood. This at least gives me closure.”

The state medical examiner will determine the cause of death and make a positive identification of the body, Knight said.
