OSU working on home-and- home with Army and Navy

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State athletic director Mike Holder said Monday he is working on a home-and-home series with both Army and Navy and believes the deal can be done.

"I want to take our team to tour West Point,” Holder said. "I want to play all the service academies.”

OSU already has a series scheduled with Air Force. Holder said he has no timetable for a possible Army or Navy series.

Holder said Army has not been receptive in the past to a series with OSU — Oklahoma athletic director Joe Castiglione says the same thing about an OU-Army series — but O-State benefactor Boone Pickens is a big supporter of the U.S. Military Academy and is encouraging Army to sign off on the series.
