Cowboys dismiss Collins from team
STILLWATER — Oklahoma State interim president Marlene Strathe announced late Monday afternoon that Chris Collins has been dismissed from the football program but will remain on scholarship.
Collins, a sophomore linebacker, pleaded guilty last week to aggravated sexual assault of a 12-year-old at a post-prom party in a May 2004 incident in Texarkana , Texas . A jury recommended five years probation.
