BETHANY - Police are asking for volunteers to aid them Wednesday morning with a search for a local woman missing since Friday.

Police are looking for Lauren Barnes, 20, who was reported missing after not showing up to meet friends about 7:15 p.m. Friday.

Volunteers are asked to meet at 8 a.m. at the Bethany Police Department, 6700 NW 35.

Police said Tuesday night that the search crews will focus mostly on Eldon Lyon Park at NW 36 and Glade Avenue, where Barnes' car was discovered Sunday, and Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge at NW 50 and Stinchcomb Avenue.
