The WhollyGenes fourth annual cruise and conference is scheduled for Oct. 26-Nov. 2.
Bob Velke, president of WhollyGenes, is the developer of The Master Genealogist, a genealogy database software program.
The educational and fun-filled voyage to the Eastern
Caribbean will include opportunities to learn about genealogical research methods, tools and technologies from noted speakers and authorities in those fields.
Speakers will include Elizabeth Shown Mills, former editor of the
National Genealogical Society Quarterly;
Barbara Vines Little, Virginia research expert;
John Grenham, Irish genealogist; and
John Tidford, British genealogist and author.

All speakers will be available for scheduled sessions with individuals and breakfast meetings with groups. A special shore excursion in St. Thomas is being planned for those who may be interested in the genealogical resources of the
Caribbean.
The
Caribbean Princess will leave the port of New York and travel to
St. Kitts and
Antigua,
West Indies, and then to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Genealogy notes
The Computer Club of Oklahoma City's Genealogy Study Group meeting will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at 3000 United Founders Blvd., Suite 201.
The program will be a demonstration of
Windows Vista and other utility software programs, including True Image 11, Easycleaner-2, AD-Aware-SE and Nero-7.
At 11 a.m., following the regular meeting, The Master Genealogist or Legacy genealogy database software programs will be discussed
