Technology center election canceled for weather

PRYOR — Today's election on a proposed property tax for all or parts of eight northeast Oklahoma counties was canceled.

The Northeast Technology Center 's board made the decision during an emergency meeting Monday afternoon in Pryor. The board didn't set a new election date, board President George McCreary said.

"This is a ... disaster up here,” McCreary said of the reasoning behind canceling the election...
