Fans' reactions"I'm going to use football for an example. Oklahoma is very ignorant when it comes to the NFL because we're all college-born and bred. Anything to get a pro team of some kind here, I'm in favor of, absolutely. I'm ready for it.”
— Hollie Thyfault, 27, Tulsa
"I'm for it. It's sort of like MAPS, and as long as it's not another additional penny, I'm OK with that. I'm more of an amateur sports guy, but I wouldn't mind seeing a professional team. We did a good job supporting the Hornets. Why not? It's worth it to me.”
— Roger Moody, 70, Midwest City
"It's worth the money, because it's going to bring a lot more people here. And if Oklahoma City doesn't pass it here, we will at the BOK Center (in Tulsa).”
— Jesse Bahling, 26, Stillwater
"We have to get a pro team in here. We had season tickets to the Hornets, so of course, we think it's worth it. I like renovating it better than rebuilding because of the price tag to rebuild. They need to increase the number of vendors.”
— Eddie Allen, 65, Spencer
"This is my first time being in the Ford Center, and I can see where the improvements could really help. If it's going to mean bringing bigger events and an NBA team, I'm all for it.”
— Dave Schroeder, 51, Broken Arrow
