Is Phoenix big enough for the both of them?
On the plane ride from Austin to Phoenix — don't ask why we had to go through Austin to get to the Valley of the Sun — on Wednesday, the Southwest jet contained both sides of Bedlam. OSU center Andrew Lewis and OU assistant athletic director Greg Tipton were on the plane, and for all I know, Sooner flanker Juaquin Iglesias was there, too. Didn't see him, but his bag was circling around the same carousel as our flight's.

Considering the proximity of their bowl games, the Sooners and Cowboys could get together in Arizona...off the field.

Expect such togetherness in what promises to be one of the more interesting weeks in state football history. Cowboys and Sooners, sharing a city, awaiting a bowl game.
OU plays West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl next Wednesday night, two days after the OSU-Indiana Insight Bowl.
Bob Stoops a couple of weeks ago said it would be a perfectly fine setup and that not only would many Sooners likely attend the OSU game — they went to the Texas Tech-Minnesota Insight Bowl a year ago — they would likely cheer for the Cowboys, because of Big 12 pride.
