Franks will start at corner
Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said Tuesday morning that redshirt freshman Dominique Franks will start at cornerback over sophomore Brian Jackson in Wednesday night's Fiesta Bowl against West Virginia.
Franks, who has only three tackles this year, is starting in place of Reggie Smith , who has a broken toe, and Lendy Holmes , who didn't travel with the team after failing to stay academically eligible.
