City aims to net support for tax

If Mayor Mick Cornett wants to know what he needs to do to convince voters to support a 1-cent sales tax to pay for improvements at the Ford Center , he might want to start with the city council.

The council voted unanimously Wednesday to set an election on the proposal for March 4, but several council members said they still need to be convinced the proposal is good for the city before they'll support it publicly.<...
