Homeland shops for United's stores

Homeland's acquisition of Altus-based United Supermarkets , announced Monday, is the latest deal in Oklahoma 's fast-consolidating grocery market.

Homeland Stores said it plans to buy 26 United Supermarkets in western and northern Oklahoma. The price and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
