The Oklahoma City School Board will again discuss suspended Superintendent John Porter's employment at a special meeting called for Friday afternoon.

Questions have been raised about whether the board's meeting on Monday, when Porter was suspended, violated the state's open meeting laws.

The agenda for Friday's meeting states clearly that the school board will discuss the superintendent's employment, which was not written on the board's Jan. 7 agenda.

Friday's agenda also has more detail than the last agenda about what the board will discuss in open session. The list appears to duplicate the actions the board took Monday, including:

-A presentation from investigator Robert McCampbell about possible reasons for Porter's termination.

-Discussion and possible action to find that there may be reasons in the investigation for his termination. -Discussion and possible action to set a hearing date to review those reasons.

-Discussion and possible action to direct legal counsel to inform Porter of his right to a hearing.

-Discussion and possible action to immediately suspend Porter with pay.

-Discussion and possible action to appoint an acting superintendent.
