OCU had submitted its bid late last year. The tournament will be held at Abe Lemons Arena for two years with an option for a third in 2011. The Stars have added a men's team two years ago and created a women's program that began wrestling this year.

The NAIA tournament has been held in Sioux Falls, Iowa in recent years. This year's tournament is March 6-8. OCU will hold a press conference Thursday morning to outline its plans as host.

Track hall to induct OBU coach: Oklahoma Baptist track and cross country coach Ford Mastin will be inducted to the Oklahoma Track Coaches' Association Hall of Fame at 8 p.m Friday at the Norman Holiday Inn. Mastin has been coaching for 29 years. Before coming to OBU, he coached track, cross country and was a football assistant at Prague High from 1982-96. He coached 13 All-State winners, a state runner-up team and a state third-place team in boy's track. In 1994, he earned Oklahoma Track Coach of the year. For three years, he served as the president of the OTCA.

At OBU Mastin has won three national championships in track, two of them last year. The cross country squads have recorded 18 conference titles.
