First-time candidates fill Norman races

NORMAN — Eight people are running in three contested races for Norman City Council , including six first-time candidates for political office.

Councilman Dan Quinn will retain his Ward 8 seat because he is running unopposed. That leaves Wards 2, 4, and 6 up for grabs in the March 4 nonpartisan election. A runoff, if necessary, will be May 13.
